Another two months have gone by since my last post.
Jo and her kids joined me for a week in June. Connor then went back to Kentucky with them for the summer. He will be back here for the school year. Amy and her family were here for a couple of weeks in late June and early July. Carter and Harris were enrolled in a couple of camps. They were both in a soccer camp and then Carter was in a camp run by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
Alicia and a group of friends who were all in the Trinity Youth Program in the late 70's had a reunion at the Clearwater Beach right after the fourth of July. Four of them stayed here with me for a couple of days before the reunion. I tried to get them to come to Trinity on Sunday, but it didn't fit into their plans. They had about twenty of the kids from the old youth group that came back to the reunion. They had so much fun that they want to do it again next year. They are talking about going to Alaska. Jan Simms adn her husbacd run some camps up there.
It ws a lot of fun having all of them around, but because I wanted to be here with them, it cut down on my travel options for the summer. I decided toward the end of July that I would go up to Murphy for a week, and I just got back from that trip. My next venture is a trip out to LA to see Britt. I will fly out there on August 14th and back on the 17th. Connor arrives on the 18th which is a week before school starts.
I am hoping that I can leave Connor on his own a lot more this year. That would make it much easier for me to go on with my regulr activities. I would like it if he would take the bus to school and home again each day. We'll see......

June is busting out.
It's been a long time since I posted anything. A lot has happened in these months. Connor's semester is over. he finshed much better than he started! His grades for the last marking period before the finals were all B's. It wouold be great if his final grades could be somewhere near that.
Connor and I went up to Murphy the first week in April for our meeting with the Adams. It was chilly, but very nice. We were very active for the seven days. We stopped in to see Shannon and her family on the way up, but drove straight through coming home. Jo and Reilly and Chloe came down Friday and stayed until Sunday, so Connor got a chance to see some of his family briefly.
Marc and Shannon and the girls were here for a week at the end of May. Olivia is getting bigger and cuter each time I see her. The Zolars still long to be on the Florida coast.
I'm trying to get my summer lined up. The only definite that I have is a trip out to see Britt in August. I would like to get up to NC at some point, but I'm not sure when that can happen.
Jan is not doingas well these days. She has fallen several times and spends most of her time in a wheelchair now. Connor and I went to see her yesterday but only for a short time. I still miss her very much.

Connor is off doing a skateboard competition so I'm on my own for a while.
We had a great trip up to Roswell GA this past weekend. Shannon's baby, Olivia was baptized on Sunday. Connor and I drove up on Friday ( Arrived in Roswell at about 10:00 Friday night), spent Saturday and Sunday morning with Shannon, Marc, Liliana, Olivia, Amy, Michael, Amy's boys, Alicia and several others. it was great fun. We drove back Sunday afternoon and arrived back in Clearwater at about 10:00 Sunday night. It was a lot of driving in just a short time, but it was a really nice weekend.
I took Jan out for lunch yesterday. She is very happy these days. She laughs when she sees me and laughs at almost anything I say. That is certainly much better than seeing her sad and afriad, which she has been at times. Her balance is not good. Arden Court calls me if she ever falls, and she has fallen three or four times in the last two or three weeks. She hasn't been hurt at all, so the falls must be fairly gentle. None of them have seen her fall, but they find her on the floor or once in teh grass outside by the sidewalk.
We had our Annual Meeting at the Church on Wednesday. There is definitely an excitement about the future with the new pastor. I have great expectations.
Ed and Emily's grandson, Andrew, is performing in a production at the High School tonight. Our Friday Gang is going to dinner and then to watch the performance. They did "Susical the Musical" a month ago or so and it was great. This is a fund raiser so they can go to the state compitition and perform there.
Much more later......
